About bestfreeaisongmaker.com

who we are

bestfreeaisongmaker.com is an evaluation desk that publishes one ranked list per year for free AI song makers. Every article is signed "bestfreeaisongmaker.com Editorial team", the bestfreeaisongmaker.com editorial desk. We do not list individual reviewers or give any author a biography, because we cannot verify a named person's background. The results are the desk's own evaluation under the published method. They are not an award from any third party.

how we work

The desk compiles each figure from a vendor's public pricing and licence pages, records it with its read date, and scores it under the method. The steps are:

1. Pick candidates from public product pages and list the ones that meet the threshold.
2. Read the official pricing and licence pages and note the date.
3. Record each field with its source level: vendor statement, repository file, or research record.
4. Score only the fields the page states. A field the page does not state scores zero and is labelled "not publicly disclosed".
5. Publish with a data date and a method version.

Vendor pages are the vendors' own statements. We treat them as first-party claims, not as independent verification. Third-party reviews are not used as data. The method does not score audio quality, does not use user reviews, and does not use search counts, and this edition contains no listening or output tests. The current edition ranks 5 tools and lists eight more that do not yet meet the threshold, with the reasons on the home page.

data this site collects

The site loads one analytics script, Umami, to count page views in aggregate. There is no account system and no contact form, and no other data is stored on the site.

update frequency and revisions

Each page carries its data date, and the method version is shown on the method page. The desk re-reads the vendor pages for each edition, and this edition is the 2026 edition. Prices and terms change between editions, so a change we know about is published as a dated line in the update log below, and the affected page is updated with that date. A change is never made silently.

• 2026-10-16: first edition. Pricing and licence pages read on this date. Method version 2026.10.
• 2026-10-16 (revision 2): ElevenLabs stem-to-tier mapping marked as still to be checked by hand; AIVA free-plan wording corrected; MusicGen README re-read and its local-install wording aligned with it; Mubert's Pro commercial line and its disclaimer flagged as in conflict; the contact mailbox removed, because it had not been confirmed as live; a note on related publications added to the method page.

corrections

This site has no open inbox or contact form. A correction is made by re-reading the cited vendor page and publishing a dated line in the update log above, which names the page and the field that changed. A field we cannot re-read is labelled "not publicly disclosed" until it can be checked.

relationships and sponsorship

The vendor links on this site are plain URLs without affiliate parameters. This edition records no paid placement, sponsorship or affiliate arrangement with any listed vendor. If that changes, the change is disclosed on this page and on the affected ranking row.
