Head-to-head scorecards and export-focused guides for free AI song makers. A "song" here is a complete track, "free" means a free tier, and every cell uses only fields read from an official page on the date shown.
A local model and a hosted service fail in different ways. This guide separates where the model runs from who may use the output, using MusicGen's split code and weights licence as the worked case.
Soundraw scores 57 and Mubert 47 under our export-first method. Soundraw wins on stems; Mubert wins on its free allowance and on how fully it states distribution rules.
Under bestfreeaisongmaker.com's export-first method Mubert scores 47 and Suno scores 32. Mubert names lossless WAV on paid tiers. Suno lists stem separation but does not name its download formats.
Soundraw's Artist Pro lists stems in its download list. Suno's Pro and Premier list stem separation from a finished mix. Under the export-first method Soundraw scores 57 and Suno scores 32.
Stem export and file format are separate questions on AI song makers. We read what each official pricing page states, tier by tier, and mark where the printed list stops.
